Wetteri Oyj

Aarne Simula and Markku Kankaala together acquired all the shares of Wetteri Oyj in the spring of 2022. Right after the acquisition, a group of other investors, led by Martti Haapala, invested in Wetteri. The common goal was to take Wetteri to the main list of Helsinki Stock Exchange as the first company in Finland in the car trade with a multi-brand representation. 

Wetteri Oyj is the biggest car dealership in Northern Finland with a turnover over €340M. 

Wetteri is an entrepreneur-driven growth company and a unique multi-brand car dealer. Business is focused on the trade of new and used cars, as well as utility and heavy-duty trucks.  Business also includes comprehensive secondary market services like spare part and maintenance services, and repair workshop. Competitive advantage of the company is further strengthened by multi-brand strategy and digital abilities. 

Wetteri is a market leader in its business field in Northern Finland with a market share of 38 %.  The company will carry out acquisitions with the aim of being an active player in consolidating the business into larger and more profitable units. Management of the company has a long experience in the business field, as well as significant ownership in the company, which facilitate fast decision making to enhance and grow the business.
